Re: HELP - Crackling during voice over recording
Which OS-X and Which Audacity? I have tried to troubleshoot using garageband - I still hear crackling. OK, now it's harder. Can you make a clean recording with your iMac built-in microphone? With either program? Change in the Audacity device toolbar. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/device_toolb...

Re: Downgraded to 2.0.3 to Overcome Static on Recent Version
I'm just following up that after extensive recording, setting Audio to Buffer to 200 ms has meant I've never had the issue I explained in my first post.

Re: Sound Resets to 0
... resetting to 0 is most likely a sound card driver issue. Point your IT Manager to the link I gave about sound card drivers. 2.1.2 probably won't help directly with the master volume reset, but the update might be useful if you don't mind retraining the students for the new features since 2.0.2. ...

Need Help Recording to Audacity with 8 ch USB Mixer to Mixlr
Hi All, I record a live radio show using Mixlr. I have an Alesis Multimix USB 2.0 FX Mixer which allows for 8 channel recording. I use channels 1 & 2 for microphones. 5/6 are connected to an ipad for interviews/songs. That all works fine. I want to use the Mac because there's a program Sound Byt...
