Condenser microphone and Audacity
... baffled. If there is anyone out there who knows both Audacity and how to integrate the microphone to it I would be very grateful for any advice or help. Thus far I haven't managed to record even a squeak out of it...very frustrating.

The format varies but most commonly it is m4a. Please install FFmpeg then you will almost certainly be able to import the files into Audacity without converting them. How correct sound artifacts on-the-fly?
... files. If I play the same file again, the static will occur at different spots in the music. I've tried reinstalling the driver but that doesn't help. Is there any software available that can clean on-the-fly? If not, what steps can I take, if any, to help clear up this issue?
