I've just updated to audacity 2.1.2, after having version 2.1.1, thinking that it might help fix a problem I've been noticing the last few days, but it has not changed. I've been using some audio unit plugins, and I tried a demo of one, which after deleting from [Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components] ...

... me further. I can see the file , and play the file , and can see the gaps in audio , but cannot seem to go further . I really would like some help , live or point to an answer . It probably is me , but I don't like to give up. Thanks in advance . :?:

This just recently started happening. It didnt happen the last time I loaded Audactiy, about a week ago. I have not made any changes to my system since then. It was working last week. What happened and how to fix it? I have tried re-installing it and restarting my computer. No help.
