... create a label track. Sometimes I accidentally grab a handle on a label and move it where I didn't want to. Being able to protect the track would help to avoid those types of mistakes. Class-compliant drivers are not going to help without ASIO in my opinion. I have several 4 and 6 channel class compliant devices USB 1.1 devices that work(ed) under Windows. Plug and play. That was with XP, I'll admit and I haven't done anything ...
