No, you will almost certainly not completely remove the river assuming you mean this is a mono track. If you are really lucky you many find that Noise Reduction with the Noise Profile set to the river helps a little. Popping sound on all my recordings

I'm using 10.9.5 OS X with a firewire duet and a ribbon mic running thru a tube pre amp . The recording's all have poppy crackly sounds. Tried different sample and bit rates . All my levels are in the green or below 0db on the pre amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

... WAV file header is exactly 44 bytes and now the header isn't getting deleted... Now isn't that something? Oh well, who knows?, at least that helps narrow avenues I don't need to travel down to make a decision how to treat my music files. Thank You DVDdoug this does help.

I don't see any drop down that allows me to select USB CODEC. Make sure you are using Audacity 2.1.2 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows . Connect the mixer before launching Audacity, then choose the USB audio CODEC for the mixer in Device Toolbar . The mixer should have "USB&quo...
