I did that, downloaded the zip file with included help, but when I use the help tab the manual always opens the internet version. Since I'm not always connected, I would prefer to have the manual on my disk drive. Make sure at Edit > Preferences..., ...

While the segment is selected (and you're in Stop) Press the keyboard DEL key. A cousin to that is Control-L which will silence the selection but leave it in place.
