... really is computer coding (XML), and so has to be exact. One spacebar in the wrong place and your AUP could turn to trash. -- Windows could "help you" by accident. If you save your properly corrected AUP file the wrong way, Windows may save it as MyMusic.aup.txt. and then hide that .txt ...

... Tools session, when something is edited out of a recording it just shows up to the right of the mixing board in Regions. Not so with Audacity. Any help will be so appreciated!! Bob

Forget about my suggestion about changing owner and group, it didn't really worked (nyquist couldn't load). I think I found why Audacity wasn't working :D I deleted the old installation and ~/Application Support/audacity files. Did a fresh reinstall and, as expected, Audacity couldn't find any plugi...

I think the free audio player "Foobar 2000" (Windows only) can output a DSD stream. I've never tried this, and I don't have suitable hardware for testing, but this article may help: http://www.audiostream.com/content/how- ... foobar2000
