... headset mic as recording device I can't record anything. Strangely my headset only seem to work together with Skype. Once again, thanks for your help, unfortunately I am still not able to record any sound. I will also check the Logitech forums and see if I can find any more information on there.

... when I look at the folder I created to see if anything was saved, all I save is something that says e00. I don't know what that is. Please help. I really enjoy audacity. Thank you.

steve's advice - Import audio from the MP4 files; Align the tracks end to end (Select all of the tracks with "Ctrl+A"; then "Tracks menu > Align > Align End to End"); Export.

... but it's not getting anything. When I hit record for the USB device (my headset), I get a popup that there was an error opening the device. Help?
