Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise

I've been trying to buy a Yeti on the cheap by bidding on eBay, but even the beat-up ones get pushed up beyond my budgie. As a practical matter if you have The Yeti Curse (data whine), it's fatal. We've never found an external device that can be added which will reliably suppress the noise. I think ...

Than have you tried Noise Reduction on the noise?

You can attach an audio sample of your noise if you like.

Have you considered getting a better mic?

Re: Error while opening sound device during recording

Which version of Audacity? (look in "Help menu > About Audacity") What are you trying to record? Assuming that you have a sound card installed in your computer and are using Audacity 2.1.2, my guess is that some other application has ...

Windows sees your extended notes as "hum and interference" and is trying to get rid of them to "help you." If you were in a chat or call, this would be a good thing. But you're not.

bass track cuts out

... again. It is only when I use this playing technique that the problem occurs. Otherwise the bass comes through without problem. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? Many thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I'm Gustavo Woltmann. I'm new here and also started to use Audacity very recently. Please help me solving the issue.
When click edit, preferences, and then click the audio i/o tab under recording, there is no available devices to click. What to do now?

Re: Help! Blue Yeti high pitch noise

Uhh... Hi everyone. This post is pretty old, and I'm surprised I've never found it within the almost 3 years I've had these problems with my Yeti. In a nutshell, I've got the exact same problems as everyone else, except to a lesser extent: Mine is exceedingly quieter. I didn't get to listen to some ...

Re: Newby trying to record from phones output

Thanks Doug. I'm trying to find an appropriate setup to help a friend who has dusted off his old B&O system so that he can transfer all his old vinyl to his notebook. The Behringer device takes phono inputs (they call them RCA inputs, I'm assuming ...
