Audacity 2.0.0 referred to in your AUTOSAVE file is now very old. I recommend upgrading to the current 2.1.3 from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows.

I am using Win10 x64 on Audacity 2.1.3. I go through all the motions to save the mp3 as an 'other uncompressed file' 'SDS' '24 bit PCM' and the error message I get is 'Cannot export audio in this format'. I also have LAME installed. HELP!!!

... at both ends. Check the mic is connected properly. Try Windows DirectSound or Windows WASAPI host in Audacity's Device Toolbar . Ask Focusrite for help if necessary. Ask them what drivers you should be using on Windows 10 for a non-ASIO application (they will know what that means). Gale

Look in the Windows Sound Control Panel in the Recording tab and see if your mic is working (you should see a green meter jumping up and down when you peak into the mic).

Which version of Audacity? (look in "Help > About Audacity")
