Re: I want to start recording on Sat/ 6am and Sun/9am.
I did this 3 years ago using Microsoft Task Scheduler. Someone here showed how to do it ... I would appreciate it if someone can help me get it going again. Your old posts on this subject, (mostly from 2014), can be seen via this link ... http://forum.audacityteam.org/search.php?st=0&sk=t&s...

No Automatic Log File Generation?
Hi all, I work in IT at my University's Library and we were having an issue with Audacity crashing after about 30-40 minutes from apparently a USB microphone. It also crashed Windows Movie Maker. I have been diagnosing the issue trying to replicate it for about 2.5-3 hours now, but nothing has happe...

Re: AUDACITY TURNED MY 1.62GB TRACK INTO 1.1MB CLIPS
Audacity does that so you can save all your timelines, structure and edit formats in super high quality format—minus the UNDO. Search the computer for your AUP file. It's supposed to be in the same place as the _DATA folder (but not inside it). See my illustration. That was an actual short show. If ...

Suggested improvement to labels and selections
I just discovered the behaviour of Audacity when it comes to label marker ranges and selections (I was about to ask for it and thought I should really check if it already there!). Anyway, the issue is this: - If I select a region on a track, and press Ctrl-B, Audacity creates a label that spans the ...
Nyquist etc
P.S. Perhaps my questions, which I wrote in Easter, were too difficult. But I think Mr Nyquist is answer to many of my questions. I must search my Lisp book. Can you please tell me the best possible website (URL) which has the manual about using Nyquist prompt?

Re: GPF Zooming in large multi-channel files
Have you tried a Google search on that? It may throw up some ideas of things to test.Scotttu wrote:Faulting module name: MSVCR120.dll, version: 12.0.21005.1
Re: hum
The other option for home music-recording would be a stand-alone recording device. Battery powered, so no mains-hum.

Re: not recognizing any device
I booted with the generic kernel and it's not working, still not recognizing anything. I tried to build it from source, but for that I had to install wxWidgets: checking for wx-config... no checking for wx-config-3.0... no configure: error: Could not find wx-config: is wxWidgets installed? is wx-con...
