Try Pamela For Skype or search for something similar.
By default, Windows only allows you to record from one thing at a time. It requires special software to get-around that.

As I think you suspected Koz, user "codedmp3ng" was a spammer.

Vocaroo doesn't play, 46 Hype has a security error screen and Ent Class is a commercial for a blogging product. As a fuzzy rule, we can't take a mixed performance apart into individual voices, instruments or sounds. Once it's mixed, that the end of the world. There is one exception. Sometimes, if th...

Re: Before I begin narration
Your clip has very high amounts of sub-sonic noise. Fortunately that is very easy to cure, with the "LF Rolloff for Speech" equalization curve. After applying that your noise floor is in great shape. Beyond that you need a bit of compression to get the required RMS-peak ratio. If you searc...

Increasing playback speed
Hi all: Lloyd here with Audacity 2.2.2 on a Windows 10 PC. All I want to do is speed up a recording of plain text so I can quickly search for a cough or a dog barking in the background. I want to play it at 1.5 to 2X the play speed and just listen to it. I know there's a way to do this but I can't f...

Rendering to one track when there's overlap?
Aloha, Apologies in advance, but my search didn't produce an answer to this noob question. I use Audacity in post, after recording live music. Sometimes, I have a few segments of the recording, broken between songs during applouse. each segment a different pair of stereo tracks. I like to crossfade ...

Re: record voice mail from phone
Did you Google your phone type and "Copy Voicemails" or other search term? The object is to do it via software, not a cable.I have been trying to go transfer voicemails to audacity but it does not work.
Connecting a phone to a computer isn't simple.

Not liking Horizontal Zoom relative to selection edge
Using Audacity 2.2.2 under Win 7 The new (well, since my previous update) rule for horizontal zooming when there's a selection and mouse cursor is outside of it might be useful when the near selection edge is on the screen, but when the whole selection is off-screen it's rather a nuisance. Is there ...
