I think it's impossible to remove music from aircraft-noise.
You could cheat : transplant another aircraft-noise soundtrack to the video ...

You'll need video-editing software to do that (Audacity only edits sound).

Re: MP3 to midi
What have I done wrong? Use Audacity. Audacity doesn't speak MIDI. I think it can open and close a MIDI file, but it can't do anything to it and it can't convert. Converting MIDI to music is a snap. Machines could do that for years. Converting to MIDI is difficult. Step one, which instrument is pla...

Re: search for specific sound in mp3 audio
Thanks Steve,
I maximized frequency range from 60hz to 300hz in Equalization effect, (my sample noise frequency is 200hz), and those specific noise does becoming obvious in the waveform view, allowing me to focus on those spots.

Re: search for specific sound in mp3 audio
The specific sound is an object dropping on the floor created an impact noise. If that is the only sound, then you should be able to easily see it as a blip in the waveform view. If there is a too much background noise to see the blip, then it is probably not possible to find it automatically, thou...

search for specific sound in mp3 audio
Hi, I am thinking of using Audacity to search for some specific sound in a recorded mp3 audio (3 to 4 hours duration). The specific sound is an object dropping on the floor created an impact noise. So I was thinking of maybe to first examine one typical sample noise's frequency, duration, and loudne...

Re: Noisegate Plug In doesn't appear
I went to the Library Folder in the HD initially but have since plugged in the ~Library/Application ... in the search box for the "This Mac" and "Mac HD" and get one html link to an Audacity wiki page for ffmpeg export options. Is there some other place I should be entering ~Libr...
Re: Why?
Because Audacity does not support album art (or lyrics) in metadata. The workaround is to extract the album art from the original file, using a tag editor such as IDTE (or use Windows Media Player or iTunes to search online for the art) then add the art back to the exported file using your media pla...

Re: echo when applying effects
I am trying to record my voice, via a mixer and microphone, accompanied by an imported .mpg. It seems to work fine, until I play it back ... Then it adds an echo ... Try unchecking " Software playthrough of input" in Audacity preferences ... https://forum.audacityteam.org/download/file.ph...

Re: Scroll wheel zoom? And where did Check Dependencies go?
Help > Diagnostiscs > Check Dependencies Which I would have found if the Manual was searchable. Tell me about it  It's a long story, is searchable ... And yes I know the Index is sparse (it was worse a while back, I found a bit of time to improve for that last release 2.2.2) If I can't...

Re: Scroll wheel zoom? And where did Check Dependencies go?
I didn't search. In this particular case : From a forum window > On-Line Manual https://manual.audacityteam.org/ Reference (on the left) > Index (scroll down) > Zoom. Scroll down until I hit it. My favorite problem is the Add-On and Home-Made Filters. Those are abysmally hard to find, and I know the...
