Re: Strange Sounds
Only way I found out to correct something, without corrupting the whole file, is to search for the clicks in maximum zoom and correct it by hand, with the pencil-tool, There is another tool available in v.1.3 called repair - you would use it in a similar way to correcting with the pencil, except th...

Re: Strange Sounds
How are you trying to "clean-up the recording from clicks"? Are you using "Click Removal" or "Noise Removal"? Both of these effects are "destructive" in the sense that they are making permanent changes to the audio. These effects have to try and guess what is noise and what is music - tweaking the ...

Re: Visualisation
For screen recording in Windows, there is the excellent and free CamStudio - it's an old program and it got taken over as a non-free product, but the old free version is still available. I found a few other free screen recorders here: http://www.freesoftware4all.co.uk/screenrecording.htm but CamStud...

Re: Recording Levels 101
Koz, The "compressor" was the ticket! Thanks so much! I have only played with the default settings so far. But will try your other suggestions. Can you give me a better basic understanding of Ratio, Threshold and Attack? When I do a google search of these terms, I get stuff back that is way over my ...

Duplicate a label track - how?
Hi, first time poster, search didn't help with my issue. I've added labels to a project to mark music sections (e.g. Intro, Verse1, Chorus1, Bridge1, etc). Now I want to duplicate the track so I have another set of labels at the exact same locations, with the intent to edit each one with chord progr...

Re: sound cuts out?
Your project files are out of whack. This happens when you import audio into a project, save it, and then move or delete the original audio files. You can fix your project if you replace the original audio files. If you open the "project_name".aup file in a regular text editor, you should be able to...
