Edit Point Delay
Mac Audacity 1.3.5b. I'm editing a stereo show on a 1.83 GHz Intel Duo-Core Mac Mini, no slouch for speed. It's my TV Set and it will edit video if I need. One fifth of the internal hard drive is free. There is a beat delay between the time I select a point on the timeline and the time that the focu...

Re: Export Multiple won't export anything but 16-bit audio
Some people might not understand why it fails because the error message is not specific. I agree, it would help if the error message was more descriptive. Have you recorded a coincident pair (ex. X-Y, Blumlein)? Yes, frequently. If you turn up one side more than the other, the stereo image will shi...

Re: Export Multiple won't export anything but 16-bit audio
A warning about legal filename characters would do, even if it causes the export process to fail (which is the case now). Some people might not understand why it fails because the error message is not specific. Normalize then pan to reduce volume? That seems like a roundabout and inaccurate way to d...

Re: Audacity with Rewire
I already used the search option. a guy talked about a program called Jack for Linux, but that's it. the forums I found on google said they were not compatible, but those were old posts so I figured I would ask and see if anything new was out there. so far I haven't found a thing, but thanks for the...

Re: Devil voice (like DMC4)
You have to play the movie segment over and over and figure out what sound they were using for the base effects track. It doesn't have to be a musical instrument or noise generator. It could be another distorted voice, very low for example, saying the same lines. That would give you multiple distort...

Re: My Audacity won't open.
Search your machine for audacity.cfg and drag it to the trash. Restart your machine.

Re: How to burn an audio DVD?
I have a 90 min. audio program that I want to record in WAV format and since it is too long to fit on CD, I would like to burn it to DVD. Can this be done without buying expensive DVD burn ware? You need a DVD-RW drive of course, Always best just to use a search engine for a query like this, includ...
