Mine does work, so let's see if we can narrow it down. The keyboard shortcut for pause is the p key. Does that work? I can be recording a show and press p and the recording will pause. Press it again and the recording resumes. If none of that works, have you restarted Windows? Assuming you did that ...

There have already been several postings with difficulties with this particular TT - try the Search utility at the top right of the forum page and use "ITUT 201" as your search criterion.
