The version is 1.3.5-2 how you can see if you connect to debian org and search packages Audacity.

It's not a special instruction because compared to separating the original vocal, it's a piece of cake. Take the separated vocal and paste it into an additional track underneath the music. This has probably been asked before, but I am unable to think of any way to word it in a search.

Basically, is there a way to turn off when you delete or add something into an audio track, everything else shifts forward or back?
