The version is 1.3.5-2 how you can see if you connect to debian org and search packages Audacity.

It's not a special instruction because compared to separating the original vocal, it's a piece of cake. Take the separated vocal and paste it into an additional track underneath the music. Project > New Audio Track. You may need to make the vocal into stereo for a good mix. Vocal Isolation from the ...

Thank god for a search engine on this forum. I purchased a TonePort UX1 myself, and having the same issue. Is there a way at all to get it to read 3 - 4? What you're doing now is Insert Editing, where the new work pushes everything else out of the way. Another way to do it -- in Audacity 1.3 ... This has probably been asked before, but I am unable to think of any way to word it in a search.
Basically, is there a way to turn off when you delete or add something into an audio track, everything else shifts forward or back?
