Export as WAV as a menu item
Apologies if this is asked and answerewd--I couldn't find it via the search function. I'm a former user of Audacity 1.2.x on Windows, now using 1.3.8 on MAC OS X Leopard. In Audacity 1.2.x, there were "Export as WAV" and "Export as MP3" entries under the File menu. In 1.3.8, I'm ...

Andrews Sisters Tutorial?
I don't get along with the search system to begin with, but I don't think I've ever seen a tutorial for multi-laying a performance. Record Maxine and then play her while I record Patty and then play both of those while I'm recording LaVerne. There's no shortage of people wanting to know how to do th...

http://www.disk.com/pages/audiotape_duplication/34.php?gclid=CJ-To8Tcy5wCFSn6agodHCqNPg Koz That link looks like audio cassette duplication, not transfer to CD. Try a search for "LP to CD". You'll find prices ranging from $50 to $5 per cassette! For example: http://lp2cd.com/prices_casset...

Re: Delta 44 and Audacity
It's worse than that. If you open up anything that uses sound services, you could get instability. Search the forum for problems with "Skype."

Re: Disappearing .aup files!
Steve, They're disappearing FROM the folder I save them TO...ie., my designated temp directory where ALL my audacity projects go. And they're not going anywhere else because a full search of my computer for .aup files is fruitless. You ask how I don't notice the files are gone BEFORE opening audacit...

Re: save project
Thanks, waxcylinder! That was just what I needed. It worked perfectly. I agree with you, metadata should be turned off as the default. Don't understand their rationale. Other forums prefer someone try to post a question in an already existing thread that is pertinent, or at least fairly related, to ...

Re: save project
Excuse this question if it has been answered previously or if it is listed somewhere, but I couldn't find it doing a search. I have a very straightforward question. I have edited a wav file using some equalization effects. Some of the responses here to questions about saving this file is to export i...

Re: making audio CDs from Audacity files
It's understandable you're confused. Audacity does not save sound files and you can't make anything out of Projects. I know we published volumes on how to do this and I can't find any of it. The wiki search is a future product. Here it is... http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=654...
