There must be some confusion about which version of Lame is being used, either by Audacity, the operating system, or the user. Do a full search of your computer for ALL files called "lame" and delete or rename then, then go back to the original installation instructions for Lame and start ...

Preference Problems
Can anyone tell me why when I click on preferences I get an MSVCR71.dll was not found error and how to fix it. I did a search on the computer and there are mutiple places on the computer where the MSVCR71.dll is found. Any help would be great.
