I don't have one to test, but I would expect it to work.

Re: Why such low recording volumes with dynamic microphones?
in the range of -54 to -42 dB, I'm going to guess you have more than one problem, but the main problem is that stage/studio mics are not compatible with the mic-input on a regular soundcard or laptop. From what I found on the Internet your microphone comes with an adapter cable. Does it have a 2-co...

Re: where do I find the noise gate plugin
I tried downloading the noise gate plug-in several times from the download site, and the only thing that is download is the help text. The plug-in doesn't download. I've done a spotlight search for the plug-in on my computer and it's no where to be found. Is there some special way to download it?

Re: Sure SM7B sounds muddy with sharp sibilance.
To catch all the whistley sibilance you need a de-esser with ~10 bands*, e.g. ... Paul-L 's ... ''gameS on Steam'' before-after.wav (* typical de-essers only have one band). But even then the reverb in the room is prolonging the sibilance in a way that a typical de-esser won't touch. That's much be...

Jumping to a specific Label
Hi, I looked through various threads and was not able to find if there was a way to jump to a specific Label. Here is my issue. When I load an audio file, I use "Tools>Regular Interval Labels" to add a sequential Label every 60 seconds. I name them L-001, L-002, ... Then I duplicate the or...

Re: Need help updating to 2.3.3
Then I performed a 'check for updates' and found and downloaded Audacity 2.3.3. I'm confused by that, because the version of Audacity in Debian "Buster" is 2.2.2 (https://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=audacity&searchon=names&suite=buster§ion=all) Is there a Raspian f...

add new stereo track and paste into it; import audio clip
Windows 7 Audacity 2.3.3 My goal is to add an audio clip onto a new stereo tracks, then cross-fade the start of this clip with the end of the clip on the first track.
