Re: My volumes fades as I record long, sustained notes. HELP
It's a sound card setting. Go into your sound card settings and disable all effects and enhancements - search thoroughly, some of them may be well hidden. The main culprit may be called something like "Noise Reduction" or "Echo Cancellation", but turn off all effects and enhancem...

Re: effects - vocal eliminator
I figured it out. I never removed all the older additional plug-in's I had down loaded in frustration. So I went on a search and destroy mission and then downloaded 1.3.13 again. It's there! And I learned yet another lesson.
Thanks for the help,

Re: Audacity Stereo Mix Recording Problem (ASIO related)
the audio that my computer is playing (that I want to record) is coming from a program that runs on ASIO (it's called Maschine, a production program). I presume that you mean "Native Instruments Maschine"? I'm not familiar with the program, but from a Google search it appears that the onl...

Re: SOUNDP
Oh yeah, I guess it IS in the manual. I did a Bing search on it and came up with nothing so I guess I figured it wasn't in there. Good to know though. Things like this always escape me. Re: any good oscilloscope programs out there (free?) ?
See http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/OSCILLOSCOPES/ [hitsquad = free- and shareware search engine, no commercial link] Note that the main reason why soundcard-oscilloscope software today is not developed anymore is that with standard 16-bit soundcards the sample frequency is too low and the s/n-ratio...

I've checked all my setting via the various Realtek panels etc And everything is OK, I can listen to things on the web fine or play mp3's thru a player...
