Re: expand on Norm's new track name in display

The color picker is build in to the font picker dialog Where? Sorry I guess that is a feature missing on the wxGTK version. Look at the image in this reply: http://forum.audacityteam.org/search.php?keywords=and+note+that+the+MAC+stuff+is+still+undetermined. about half way down page 2 of this thread...

Re: Aligning a speech recognition transcript to audio

This seems like a pretty natural thing to want. It's a pretty natural thing for you to want. First I've heard of this. I can't picture a way to do this that doesn't involve video. Aligning a speech recognition transcript to audio

I need to edit many hours of high-quality, studio-recorded English conversation. Re: we need help

Koz, Forgive the intrusion of an unknowledgeable idiot - but is this circuit called a microphone pre-amp? If so, I know the name of the chap in the UK who builds them and can supply contact details - but not in open forum. He prides himself on their being totally noise-free. Not quite. The circuit ...

Re: RECORD from pc to mini disc

Generally you would connect a stereo cable with TRS 1/8 inch connectors at both ends from headphones out of the computer to the line-in of the MiniDisc player, then play the files on the computer while recording on the MD player. http://www.minidisc.org/very_faq.html#_q110 But if you have this: http...

Re: Best WP Plugin to display Podcasts created in Audacity?

They responded just now and I am good to go . No problems with the intro clip. The terms of service were a bit vague in that regard so I had to wonder but better to be safe than sorry. The other option looked like Blubrry Power Press Plugin but BuzzSprout seemed to be a much simpler solution and mor...

Re: Compress it all or one by one.

Hmmm, I'm sorry. I did not have AppData in this location "Windows Vista/7: Users<user name>AppDataRoamingAudacityAutoSave" And I did the Unchecking of hidden files. Weird. Il check on it tomorrow again, will do some search. Maybe I can find it in different place. Users<user name>AppDataRo...
