Import .ses (Audition) files

Hi folks: I'm working on a radio but all "worked" projects are worked on Adobe Audition and they have .ses files where are everything they use on their programs. My question is: Is there any importer tool to make this? I really want to work on Audacity, but there's a lot of work if I need ...

Re: Linear prediction question

Okay, I think I've got it. What I ended up doing was: -Use recursion instead of an inverted matrix to solve a system of linear equations [O(n^2) vs O(n^3)] -Calculate linear prediction coefficients for every frame [frame size is now 256 samples] as well as correlation data [this is important] -To me...

Re: (Maybe no so daft) question: set record volume level?

However, in this configuration there is still no control over the recording volume level that I can detect. You will need to do some experimenting. Because M-Audio/Avid don't supply open source drivers Linux can at best guess the capabilities of the sound card from the capabilities of the chip set ...

Audacity 2.0 can't find lame 3.99.5

I have just installed Audacity 2.0. Am trying to follow how to install Lame encoder dll. I think I almost had it. From it's folder I moved the dll into the Audacity base folder in Windows > Program Files Record in Audacity opened right up and with 2.0 showed both channels going. then my test file pr...

Re: Recording equipment and Audacity

I have a basic question: what is the difference between a Mixer and a Audio Digital Interface? A digital Audio Interface just gets you back and forth between analog audio and computer digital bitstreams. You can't hear a bitstream and a computer has no idea how a microphone works. You need to put s...

Re: Can't find CDex file

Did CDex ask you for a name before it exported the file? You could search Windows for that name. There is one condition where that might fail. Did you use dates or punctuation marks in the filename? Koz

Re: Clean Speech

tks Kozlkowski and others; 1 the file is there under the Home>library tree - I was using the Library tree from root - didn't see the significance of the ~ in the Wiki 2 File info does not indicate it as hidden but Finder search didn't find it - same with my 10.6.8 / 1.3.9 installation on my laptop 3...

Re: Analysis of Surface Electromyography-Signals

What do you mean by "into your csv file"? Open NotePad or any other text editor. Copy and Paste the data from the Nyquist Prompt debug window into NotePad. Apply any additional formatting as required. Save with a .csv file extension. It would be advantageous to use a better text editor th...

Merge files and keep track tags

I have Audacity 2.0.0, installed from the .exe file. My OS is Windows XP Pro, SP2. I am new at Audacity and creating files with tags, so I am sure the answer to my question is somewhere in the manual or on this forum, but I have searched and searched, with no results. I have created an .aup file of ...

Saving Undocked and resized toolbars

I have Audacity 2.0.0, installed from the .exe file. I run on Windows XP Pro, SP2. I am new to Audacity, and find it to be very well done. As a new user, I find the on-line manual to be great--I wish all programs where this thorough. I have undocked/resized the meter toolbar, and also made some othe...
