Re: Can't save or export audacity files

Did you possibly run out of disk space at some point? Clearly Explorer doesn't see the AU file in the message, but you could search your computer for it just in case - if you find it, you may find the other files. I run Audacity 1.2.6, and had no idea there was a new version at all before today. If ...

The set up is 2 RCA cables that go into an adapter that converts to a single mini jack plug. My computer has 3 inputs in the rear (blue = line in, green = speaker out, and pink = mic in). Green/Pink also are in the front with my USB ports. My cable from tape deck goes to the adapter and then the Lin...

Re: Audacity is super slow

If I select a 10-minute chunk of the audio and hit the delete button, Win7 says that Audacity is (Not Responding) for at least 30 seconds, before finally refreshing without the deleted chunk. If I click to zoom, it takes 10 seconds (I counted) before the window refreshes with the zoom, although I d...

Re: Sound withdrawl?

Yeah I tried experimenting and whenever I start to record with fraps, it changes my microphone settings to "Sterio Mix" Which makes my volume extremely low, A quick search on Google suggests that it is a common problem for the microphone to be too quiet when recording on FRAPS. The usual ...

Re: Static while recording, sometimes

What happens if you don't monitor at all? Just press Record with software playthrough on (assuming you want it) and accept recording the false starts while you find the LP track? Do you get more static noise events, or less? Gale Actually, I do. It does not seem to matter if I pre-monitor the sourc...

Audio Scrub

Hi, does Audacity have an audio scrub facility, have looked, but not found.

PS Have done a search and found Audacity does not have scrub, it appears many users would like it, so i will leave my post as a vote for it in the future.
