I tried a quick search for: game sound effect extractor
Google came up with about a million hits in 0.23 seconds.

Re: Error opening project

Re: Separating music from sound effects, vice versa

Games often have sound effects and music as separate files, or separate regions of data within a file. Game designers often make it deliberately difficult to extract the sounds from a game so as to prevent piracy (copyright infringement) but if you search Google you will probably find software avail...

Re: Error opening project

If you got "error not well formed" after trying to recover the project, I don't really understand how you saved other than an empty _data folder unless you renamed the temp folder to "174_data". Didn't you see and save an empty project after receiving that error? [...] What happ...

11025hz project rate inaccurate?

Good evening, This is my first post but bear with me. I'm a widely unknown game modder (not an occupation) and have used Audacity since the 1.2.6 days to do bit of this and bit of that. Today I began exporting samples in ogg format for my latest silly project, but got KO'd in the process because app...

Re: first part of recording is gone

Look at Edit > Preferences: Directories and set the temporary directory somewhere that has sufficient space (and is not subject to space quotas) and where you have permanent permission to write to. If you are short of space, open Explorer, right-click over the drive you are using, choose "Prope...

Need Help to Record from Home Telephone to PC

Re: Concatenating files

The last box is "import folder." It can be rather unwieldy to type in the full path to the file I wish to append, and unlike WIN standards, this box does not have a search function, just a data box. Sadly that is a limitation of Nyquist Plug-ins - they don't have a file browser. I get an ...

Re: Concatenating files

I'm a bit confused. I added the appendimport.ny to the plugin folder, as instructed. I then opened the first of my files, and invoked this plugin. The last box is "import folder." It can be rather unwieldy to type in the full path to the file I wish to append, and unlike WIN standards, thi...

Re: Vocal setting in Audacity

(I didn't watch theYouTube clips 'cause I'm at work.) It all starts by "capturing" a good performance, in a good room, with a good microphone, good microphone placement, and a good preamp/interface... There are all kinds of reverb, and every recording engineer has his/her favorite... There...
