Re: Listening what I record with delay

Finally! I've fixed it! :o :D  I knew it, I knew I was right, I knew this sound card should have NO freaking delay. :P Well, after searching for hours about this problem, everybody was saying "hey, listen to this device is always gonna have delay, bla, bla, bla". But even after fi...

Re: Audacity 2.x and LAME

OK. After I have edited my MP3, I try to export it, using Export under File. I get a window telling me that not all applications open MP3. Please give the exact messages or attach an image of the message. My guess is that you put a dot (period) in the file name. If you put a dot in the file name, y...

Re: Listening what I record with delay

I have an old laptop (2005). I usually use Audacity to open multi-track files (mogg, ogg, or simply 8-9 mp3) and play along/record my guitar. Everything is OK with this laptop. -If I wanna play along, I plug in my guitar and I connect the audio jack from the computer to my amp. So my amp playbacks ...

Audacity 2.x and LAME

I have made the mistake of upgrading to 2.0.5
I have downloaded and installed LAME.
I cannot export to MP3 OR ANY OTHER format. I cannot find audacity.cfg (not even with search).
What, exactly, is the problem and the solution.
I get no help from the FAQ's.
Running Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Re: Large sections of my project dissapears after saving

@Theophilus20: Please choose Edit > Preferences, choose "Directories" on the left, then copy and paste what it says in the "Location" box. It's not hard to do. Please also zoom out during or after the recording (CTRL + F). Koz and I have both suggested this. Then you can see if t...

Re: Unwanted words linked to ads

Apparently, my computer has become infected with something or other. My question is whether that lame file has anything to do with it You have almost certainly got some sort of adware/malware installed. Lame from here: http://lame1.buanzo.com.ar/ does not contain any adware/malware, though that web...

Hmmm... Missed that. Must have been the 5 pages - LOL
Although I think I started somewhere in the middle of the post.
It came up on a google search.
Thanks for the reply.
I'll have to look back and see if I can find it.

I don't think that we are able to help you. This is the Audacity help forum and Audacity does not rip CDs, so for Audacity that's the end of the story. Most evidently you. You may request "Rip from DTS Audio CD" as a feature request, but I doubt that it will ever happen as the format now ...
