I agree with you, a huge FAQ defeats the point of efficiently finding solutions/answers. It would better to have a FAQ searchable so that for instance, "album art" would bring up relevant FAQs. I could not find that in FAQ using "album art" and to try finding it on the forum usi...

Are you sure you have looked in the Windows Control Panel for the Conexant Control Panel? If you have the original Windows 8 (not Windows 8.1) you will have to click the Windows icon bottom left then find the Control Panel in the Start Screen, or move your mouse pointer top right to show the Search ...

i performed a 'Test' on both, and the 'Speakers (High Definition Audio)' are my Boston Acoustics speakers, and the 'HF2701 NVIDIA High Definition Audio' are the built-in speakers on my monitor. They suck. The 'Speakers (HD Audio) are my default. Where do those Boston Speakers connect to your comput...

If you need help using the shipped Audacity Vocoder please see: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/vocoder.html .
However I agree GSnap is what you need if you are trying to get the T-Pain effect.

The vocoder is shipped with Audacity. It works pretty well, once you've got the hang of it.
