Re: Manipulating Decibels
I just submitted the files for review. We'll see what they say ... We are so on the edges of our seats — across nine time zones. Re: Adding artwork to ripped audio
I use Mp3tag . (It works on most formats, not just MP3.) I'm not sure if Audacity can do it. . But some of my CDs I have ripped don't have artwork. Probably where it needed to be, but as I stated in my post, I cannot post on the windows page. Now I can see my post where Gale moved it (Audacity wont record in my ASIO Build) wh...

Re: possible to make this plugin? ("auto draw wave")
The "find zero crossing point feature" is very practical..I almost don't dare to ask (you already helped me out a lot) but, would it be a lot of work to make a plugin that does the same for a custom value (other than zero)? for example move the selection to the closest 0.257 points...best...

Re: Poor quality recording of YouTube
Audacity records what you give it. Built-in (motherboard) audio and video card are all that most entry level computers have. You did not give the make and model number of your computer. At a guess, you probably recorded YouTube with the built-in microphone on your machine. You can read how to recor...

Re: Distortion on the audio even from lower input
The levels look OK. But, I cant' listen right now, 'cause I'm at work. Check Windows "Enhancements" to make sure that Windows isn't screwing-up the sound. Normally... When everything is working properly... Audacity captures the "pure" digital data coming in over the USB bus, so n...
