Re: looping click???
Hi Steve, I was wondering if I could explore this a little further as I am struggling to find a resolution to this. I am awaiting a response from Focusrite. I get the issue with the on board motherboard sound and my Focusrite Saffire 56. No combination of Host and Device seem to make a difference. I...

Re: Microphone is way too sensitive
Is the "overload" light on the US-100 unit flashing when you sing loudly? If it is then that would indicate that indeed the signal from the microphone is to high for the US-100, which would seem surprising but perhaps you are a really loud singer... If the "overload" light is not...

Re: 4 headsets and a mixer
I'm looking for an adapter to amplify headset microphones (for computer to be more precise) to put and use them ina a standard mixer. So my web radio (an association webradio) can use that mic and save money. Someone knows where can I find and buy an amplifier like I said? Some link? Some kayword th...

Re: can hear MIDI but can't record it (reprise)
I don't know a lot about QSynth, but some pointers that may help: (Update: Some information is updated in the next 2 posts, so read them too before attempting this) Before you start, open a Terminal window and enter: pacmd list-sinks Look for the "sample spec:" line in the output. It will ...

Re: Slight change requested at FAQs
OK I simplified the FAQ title to "What is the maximum recording length?" - as this concurs with the original poster's search term. The text "maximum recording time" appears in the FAQ so that should help if a future user searches for that. On reading and re-reading the original p...

Re: Slight change requested at FAQs
Perhaps "Is there a maximum recording length or limit on recording usage?" is closer to what's needed? For my money these are, and should rightly be, two separate FAQs: 1) Is there a maximum recording length? 2) Is there a time limit on recording usage? Though 2 may be better worded as &q...

Re: Pause button going "On & Off" while recording
You have accidentally enabled "Sound Activated Recording". Look near the bottom of the "Transport" menu and turn it off (deselect it). By the way, it's a bad idea to post your e-mail address on public forums as there are frequent "robots" that search websites for e-mail...

FocusRite iTrack SOLO - test
Ok, I decided to improve a bit the audio quality of my "show" and got myself a Focusrite iTrack Solo (kit). The "kit" is composed by a USB interface (the aforementioned 'iTrack solo') that has dual input (a XLR mic input with phantom power) and a simple 5mm jack input, and dual o...

Re: Recording el.guitar via USB, no input sound
which combination from the drop down menus would "read" the usb input? You should be prepared the device may not work, or does not work without the XEar 3D drivers which you will have to search for online - see the Amazon customer reviews. If Windows sees it, try restarting Audacity. It s...
