Re: Audacity heading towards spamnation??

Of course it matters for a small percentage. But it's not as if a site will no longer appear or drop to the end of search results. The vast majority of websites have no mobile view and it doesn't look like that will be changing soon. But I can't understand what's happening with source forge. Lack of...

Re: Audacity heading towards spamnation??

You need a "viewport", which is only for mobile browsers. But even on mobile devices, "viewport" isn't supported by every browser. Don't fear the new "rule". It doesn't mean your site will sink to the bottom in Google's rankings. It will only score worse in a search on ...

Re: How to make vocal like Burzum?

Another question, which percentage of "Wet' and "Dry" is efficient for this type of vocals? Adjust to taste. I used 100% wet, but death-metal is not my thing, so you may prefer different settings. BTW applying Audacity's "Leveller" on "heaviest" [ -20dB threshold ...

Re: restarting audicity file

You've mostly got it :) As you correctly deduce "Audacity projects" are stored in two parts - there is the .AUP file that has the Audacity logo, and there is a "_data" folder. The AUP file is usually quite small and contains a list of instructions for Audacity - it does not conta...

Audacity heading towards spamnation??

using a brand new computer, I did a Google search for Audacity. For the first time ever, This website wasn't even in Google. All that showed up were 3rd party compiled versions including a post about version 4.0. I open this forums up from my bookmarks, tried to download Audacity from here, and was ...

Re: Everything is gone and I'm crying

I renamed the file to "ihiuh- 2015-04-19 21-07-46 N-44.auto" and copy and pasted "C:UsersKristenDocumentsihiuh.aup" and "C:UsersKristenDocumentsihiuh_data" to my desktop. Then I tried to drag the files marked as missing into the log, but there were no blue waves at all...

Installed audacity, and now my laptop has no sound

I installed a version of audacity (earlier 2.x version) and lame on my laptop (Lenovo thinkpad, w series), and for some reason my internal speakers no longer work. The headphone jack puts sound out fine, but whenever the speakers try to put sound out it just makes a popping sound and then nothing. T...

Re: Static from computer sound source on recorded playback..

I am using Audacity 2.1.0 with Win 7-64 bit desktop computer with a logitec dynamic mic plugged into the sound card for a C-media PCI audio device. I have been using Audacity for five years in prior PC's to record Karoke output, both directly from mp3/cdg files played through a VLC player as well a...
