Re: How To insert (paste) a clip at a specified moment?
The words "insert" and "paste" are not in the Index or Glossary. The Index is incomplete. I added a note to make that clear. It was started when we had more people helping with the Manual than we do now. If I were you I would bookmark this page https://www.google.com/search?q=pa...

Re: Passing the ACX test, BUT does it sound any good?
Maybe..... I can't think of a room or environment that can give a nice neat haystack sibilance like that. If you run the microphone close to a flat surface (but not on it), you get comb filtering, wine glass effects as each tone falls into and out of cancellation. As you get further and further away...

Re: Audacity 2.1.1 and OS X 10.10.4
Thanks for your reply, Gale. Well, I deleted the whole folder, and Audacity still wouldn't start. So, I deleted audacity and all related files, again, Reinstalled it, made hidden files visible, and I still cant see a .cfg file, even when I search the whole computer. And, Audacity still crashes each ...

Re: Save Project Comes up Automatically
Ok my reply isn't up yet, but I went to that link on the timer record and see there is some details about that, including something about turning off the warning dialogues. I DID search using keywords such as save dialogue pops up, save dialogue automatic, or save dialogue automatically, and didn't ...

Re: How to move several tracks up/down? (ordering)
I'd like to suggest "Move selected tracks up/down/to Top/to Bottom" menu entries or something like that. Currently you can only move one track at a time, but there are already menu commands for moving tracks "up / down / to top / to bottom" in the track dropdown menu (see: http:...

Save Project Comes up Automatically
I recently updated to the latest version of Audacity, and an encountering an annoying thing which started. I was tinkering with my recording settings, to get a clearer recording without the sound of air when there was no talking. I think the setting I changed was in my Windows settings after all, bu...

Re: Audacity 2.1.1 crashes on OSX 10.8.5
Sometimes the Repair Permissions without restart has enabled users to read /usr/local/ again. Other times they had to go in as root to change permissions on that folder or just not use it for LAME or FFmpeg. And yes sometimes Repair Permissions can "seemingly" fix issues with ~/Library/Ap...

Re: One track to one instrument or voice
So there is only this program(Melodyne by Celemony) that would allow do this? No other programs that would be free? You could try ISSE : An Interactive Source Separation Editor - I gave you a cached URL because SourceForge is offline at present. You can always use your favourite search engine yours...

Re: Karaoke, Rotation, Panning & more
Starkiller2, thank you very much for pointing out this bug. It shows how important feedback is. I should think that after 2 years and more than 1000 downloads other users have had the same problem but did search the fault by themselves - presumably. It is a fortune that the official release coincide...

Re: I've found some bugs in Audacity with some plugins
I have another problem. I would like to change a parameters of some MDA vst effects, but It doesn't work. Examples of those are: MDA tracker, MDA voc input. Thanks, yes I agree. These plugins don't work correctly as real-time preview effects. You will have to go back to Audacity 2.0.6 to use those ...
