I click the create button – waited – and then did a search for it which turned up nothing. That particular project had edits all over the place, no...

Re: total loss of sound data

Replying to Private Message from Edward 1 I tried your solutions.... Under preferences for directories it showed C:\Users\Edward_2\AppData\Local\Audacity\SessionData. A similar file under check dependencies said no such file existed and did I want to create one? No, it did not ask if you wanted to ...

Re: No Data for Imported 880MB File [SOLVED]

Yes, I saw a track with a flat line in Audacity. It is unusual that a corrupt file would do that, rather than refuse to open or show a short section of just noise. Re: Noise Floor

I meant those foam acoustic treatment things that go in the corners of the room to reduce low frequencies It's called a "bass trap". Effective ones tend to be expensive. I've not found foam corner pieces to work very well as bass traps. Foam tends to be better at reducing high frequency &...

Re: Start a *.aup file with exact position (textlabel)?

...Or if you are zoomed in, use DOWN arrow to move the yellow focus border into the label track, then TAB forwards through the labels or SHIFT + TAB to move backwards through the labels. This will move the view position to the label tabbed into, whereas Labels Editor does not move the view position...
