Re: Microphone volume slider is setting itself to 0
It's good that you have updated motherboard audio drivers from HP, though they won't be directly relevant to your problem now you have told us you are recording with a USB recording device. What device is that exactly (make and model number)? Is it a USB turntable, or a USB phono interface for a sta...

Re: Microphone volume slider is setting itself to 0
I do not have Skype anylonger, nor do I want it. If I search for it, there are still a couple "skypish" things that pop up, even though I uninstalled it using Control panel. And I got the up to date audio drivers from HP for my computer. I have used this computer (HP Probook 4530s) for som...

Re: Transition between recording sessions
My conclusion from this is mainly that I'm confused. This search is not for the easily frightened. You can have two different sources of hum and under magic conditions, they partially cancel. Does it change depending on whether or not you're touching the microphone? If you have an imperfect connect...

Re: Transition between recording sessions
Some changes from the defaults that make the Frequency analysis window a bit more useful Ah, got it, now I see the 120Hz spike. Ironically the 120Hz noise is about 4db lower in the middle of your three samples, indicating that moving the mic over next to the monitor moved it away from the source. A...

Re: Echo Issue Upon Playback
DVDVideoSoft Do they have a response line or help forum? Did Google help any? I found a Google trick. Search term: "DVD Video Soft Complaints." If you just Google for the software or help, you're likely to get the company itself promoting their own product. No, it probably will not cure c...

Re: Issues Recording "What You Hear/Loop/Stereo Mix Windows
Thanks for quick reply. The issue still remains. I should have been more clearer. The Recording Devices allow "What You Hear/Loop/Stereo Mix." They are checked and enabled on the bottom right of the Windows Taskbar under the speaker icon. I have tried 2 other audio recording software and ...

Find Music Used
Hey, I'm trying to figure the name of the file I used that I imported into audacity. The audacity file is corrupt but I can still see the track, and I am trying to see if audacity saves the location which the file was in so I can get the name of it and search it back up online.

Re: Need help with something regarding an MP3
Is there a demo version or something of this software you mentioned which one can squeeze in a few minutes of use to get an example of it's supposed capability? I'm afraid there isn't. You have to procure the hardware with the software. And I can't even find a link to it. Russian sites aren't very ...
