Download ffmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe. Run that EXE file to install FFmpeg and you should be ready-to-go!

LAME is NOT FFmpeg. It's ONLY for EXPORTING to MP3 and it's now built-into Audacity so you don't have to add it.

On my W10 laptop I get the same as Koz on his Mac

Yes, the link Koz posted below should be active, (it was disabled for a bit this AM but now it works again).
