I'm not sure what you need to see Neither am I. For some reason, it appears that Audacity is attempting to load the wrong version of FFmpeg before loading the correct version. I'm looking for anything that might give a clue as to why that is happening on a few machines (including yours) ...

If you install the FFmpeg import/export library you can directly open/import most formats. (You'll "extract" the audio from an A/V file.)

... import multiple file choices into separate AUDACITY windows, it puts them into the same window and its a mess. I reloaded AUDACITY, LAME and FFmpeg, but still the same problem. I am certain the answer is simple - but I am dazed and confused. Please help. Thanks rob
