might be a stupid question, but when i click on Find Library in the FFmpeg preference section of Audacity 1.3.6a6, I cannot go to the folder where FFmpeg was installed: /usr/local/lib/audacity How do I point it there, as it doesn't show up? Also, of the several ...

The File Version should be 1.3.7.0. Can you be specific as to the steps in Finder where it shows Audacity as 1.3.6?

I too was having this difficulty and visited the link a couple replies up, chose the nightly from 1/6/09 and all is well regarding audacity and ffmpeg libraries. Thanks I understand now, but unfortunately I don't think that it helps us to resolve the problem. It may be that you have discovered a bug (FFMpeg in Audacity is a new feature in Audacity 1.3.6 (beta), so you are part of the testing team). I don't have 1.3.6 on my computer, so I am unable to ...
