Currently we only provide 32-bit builds for Windows.

The official 32-bit release version can be run as a "portable" app quite easily: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/por ... acity.html

Google found a ZIP copy here. The file size is the same as the official download so it's probably legit.

You shouldn't need to adjust your firewall.
Error 522 indicates that the request has timed out (temporarily unavailable).
I've just checked the site and it is working for me. I'd suggest that you give it another go.

The 64-bit version of Audacity for Windows hasn't been officially released yet so you're mostly on your own.

You may be able to use FFmpeg as an external encoder.

Where did you get Audacity from?, I though it had 32-bit versions only.
