First two suggestions didn't fix the problem but the zip file in a shared folder did the trick. Thank you Gail.

It's not FFMpeg that manages MP3. It's lame.

In Audacity 1.3, you can set the bit rate at the export step. In Audacity 1.2, you have to set it in Audacity Preferences before you export.

I'm using the 1.3 beta version.

I downloaded the FFmpeg plug in to save my music files as Mp3's. It saved them just fine but at 128 kbs. I was wondering if it's possible to save at a higher (or lower) bit rate. I can not figure out where to do this.
