Original file bitrate is 384 kb/s but ffmpeg converting this bitrate to 448 kb/s why? Does it matter? The file size will be a little larger but other than that it shouldn't be a problem. I'd guess that if you look through the FFmpeg documentation ...

Download and RUN ffmpeg-win-2.2.2.exe to install it. You should end-up with a folder called "Ffmpeg For Audacity" and in that folder you should find several files starting with "avcodec-55.dll'. But if all goes as-expected, ...

Hi, I have downloaded the FFMpeg software but I'm still having a hard time getting Audacity to find the file. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I really need some guidance. Thank you.

Lame was for making an MP3 file and is no longer needed.
What you need is the FFMpeg software to extend the number of different sound formats.

Audacity thought you wanted to open ACX-Check.ny as a music file. If you're in Audacity 2.4.2, this should work. Audacity > Tools > Nyquist Plug-in Installer... Point it at ACX-Check.ny and OK.
