Re: No Tags in WMA export
How can I find the version # in my FFMPEG? I'm assuming it's an FFMPEG problem since I'm not having this problem with the other codecs I use. If I install a newer version (assuming mine isn't the latest), do I have to uninstall the current one first?

Re: No Tags in WMA export
I'm using Audacity 2.0.1 with "FFmpeg_v0.6.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe"
All metadata is correctly saved in the WMA file.
Windows recognises the "Artist", "Track Title" and "Comment" fields.

Using Windows XP and Audacity 2.0.0. I'm using the same FFMPEG package I downloaded for Audacity 1.2. The dates in the folder are all 7/12 and 7/20/2009 except zlib1.dll which is 10/5/2004. I note the current FFMPEG release is 1.3.12, but the date is ...

All seems to be OK unless a little thing : Audacity rescan VST modules everytime it starts, even if the option is not activated. I've ...

Re: Trying to split sound file frome video I shot in AVI for
Audacity does not support video, but if you also install FFMpeg you may (depending on the type of video file) be able to import the audio component of the video file.

Re: Audacity Stops Working While Exporting
I spoke too soon. It stopped working again. It failed right after I loaded in FFMPEG. I thought that file might have caused my problems, so I deleted it. Audacity still wouldn't work. So, I erased Lame again, thinking I would start from scratch. It still is failing, ...

Re: compilation aud audacity-2.0.1
Audacity currently supports FFMpeg versions 0.5 through 0.8 (inclusive). "On Demand" loading with FFMpeg has recently been added to Audacity, which it has since been discovered causes the error that you describe when building ...

compilation aud audacity-2.0.1
On linux (slackware64). Compilation did not work with ffmpeg enabled (version 0.11.1). I tried using option '--without-ffmpeg'. But it seems that ffmpeg is still used, I get the following error: g++ -c -I../lib-src/portmixer/include -Wall -I/app/wxGTK/2.8.12/lib/wx/include/gtk2-unicode-release-2.8 ...
