Hi guys,
Apple released ALAC as opensource in 28-10-11.
Are you planing to update Audacity in order to export FLAC files into ALAC m4a?

I know that i can do that with ffmpeg libraries (or XLD program), but ffmpeg only converts in 16-bit mode (not in 24-bit).

Depending on what the file format is, you may be able to import the track into Audacity if you install FFMpeg: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ: ... Ins#ffdown

Audacity doesn't understand Apple AAC format without adding the FFMpeg software.
