... the audio and when you export you'll only get the audio. MP4 audio, M4A, and AAC are all basically the same thing. Assuming you've installed the FFmpeg library, you can export MP4 audio as M4A. Then if you want you can rename the file to MP4.

Actually, you CAN export to "Dolby". It's called AC3 and the optional FFmpeg import/export library can do it! I've never used Audacity for this, and I'm not sure about creating a 5.1 Channel AC3 with Audacity. However, I have used a FREE program called ...

Oop type - Yes it is Audacity 2.0.5 on Windows 7 Prof SP1 64 bit. Hopes that clarifies the type on my part! But I still would like to know why I cannot install FFmpeg as an add on and get it to work.
