Re: Audacity only part imports the audio file.
Yes, MediaInfo shows you it was an MP4 and not an MP3. Now you have FFmpeg you can import MP4 files into Audacity.

Re: Audacity only part imports the audio file.
Thanks Gale Andrews . I saw on another post that you suggested that I download the FFmpeg program to inport files Well I did this and now I imported that large file that was causing me problems and I have edited it as well. When I exported it back onto the audio ...

Re: Creating 2 seconds on wma files
Has anyone tested this yet? Thanks for the report. There is no issue with FFmpeg 2.2.2 itself run at the command-line, outside of Audacity. The Audacity problem is only in how Audacity is writing the length into the file headers, not with the actual length of ...

Re: Is free audio conversion software available ?
Lately, I've been using TAudioConverter if I just want to convert files.
But as Gale says, you shouldn't need to convert the files if you want to edit with Audacity.... Just install ffmpeg.

Re: Is free audio conversion software available ?
If you add FFmpeg to your computer then Audacity will import M4A without you needing to convert the file to WAV. See http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown . Or try SuperPlayer http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html#Dnload ...
