Re: Exported M4A file contain zero data

... Final message. ------- As explained a few posts above ( http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=293427#p293427 ) the "M4A (AAC) Files (FFmpeg)" item only exports maximum two channels because the "libvo-aac" encoder it uses is limited to two channels. Follow the steps ...

Re: Exported M4A file contain zero data

Thank you.

I entered:

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i - -strict experimental -c:a aac -q:a 10 travqq.m4a
but no drive activity.

Searched for travqq.m4a but could not find it. Where would the travqq.m4a file be found?

Regards.

Re: Creating a 4-track (5.1) file able to be played on DVD.

You can use Audacity with the FFmpeg import/export library to make a multi-channel AC3 file. I believe you can also make a DTS file. But that won't necessarily play on a DVD player, because you're not making a compliant DVD. You generally ...

Re: G/ReVerb issue in Mac OS 10.10.5

I sadly do not remember from where I downloaded the file. For information, instructions for downloading and installing FFmpeg are in the manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown 'FFmpeg is used only for importing / exporting files, and ...

Re: G/ReVerb issue in Mac OS 10.10.5

Okay, so it appears an FFMPEG package was not installed. I was looking through my downloads folder and it appears I was on the same track 3 years ago. That was before I started graduate school. The package I found and installed is, "FFmpeg_v0.6.2_for_Audacity_on_OSX" ...
