Scroll down. This is lame for Audacity 2.1.2. I'm not sure it runs on Audacity 2.0.3.

Which version of Audacity?
What format is the video file?
Does the video file have the correct file extension?
Do you have FFmpeg installed? (http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_ ... tml#ffdown)
Did you use the "File > Import > Audio" command?

Dragging Files To Audacity 2.1.2 Unsuccessful.
... latter method would place all the audio files into the one already open Audacity window. Perhaps it has something to do with LAME library or the FFMPEG plugins? To be honest, I’m not sure how or where to install them, nor which one of these and other necessary plugins to load after the DMG files ...

... You can extend the number of different sound files that Audacity will accept by adding the FFMpeg software. It's not clear which computer you have, so drill down from here: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/ Koz

Hi, I'm new to Audacity. And as I need to export in HDAAC (48kHz) I have to install ffmpeg library. I did it through Homebrew : /usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" and then : brew install ffmpeg ...
