I haven't tried it, but I believe Audacity can make a 5.1 (or 3.1?) AC3 or DTS track as long as you have installed the optional FFmpeg import/export library. But, you'll need to play it with some other software (VLC can probably do it). But, it can be a little tricky making a surround ...

If you are using a repository 2.1.2 provided by Mint, they have probably already linked MP3 encoding and FFmpeg (or Libav) dynamically to the relevant system libraries. If they do that, they remove the Libraries preferences because they are redundant, and you can just go ahead ...

Thank you Gale i figure it out and did File > Import > Audio... "FFmpeg-compatible files" selection. I found after making English. I hope to analyze the record properly.
