Hello,
I've have installed all latest version of these programs/plugings but first my Gsnap tool made Audacity crash every time, and now it fails to initialize the tool...
I have added the log in Notepad. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks a million!

... or add-ons. This gives you the audio as it is in the video, bad or good, loud or quiet. If you want to edit or extract the audio, install FFmpeg then drag the video into Audacity. At that point the video's audio is exactly "as it is" in the video. Gale

... the sequences from Audacity. Their graphical representation is similar to that in any other non-linear editor, like Audacity also is. Internally FFmpeg is used to handle audio (as far as I know). Via the API you have access to the class described here: https://www.blender.org/api/blender_python_api_2_78a_release/bpy.types.SoundSequence.html

... back into a copy of the video you'll need video-editor software , e.g. Avidemux . [ * You'll probably have to install something called FFmpeg into Audacity to rip the audio from the video file ]

The only other issue I have with audacity (2.12) is that it says it cannot see my avformat-52.dll. But mp3 is good enough. Also tried 53. Tells me “failed to find compatible FFmpeg libraries”. Even dropped them into c:\
