The download location does not support download managers. You have to download with a normal web browser by left clicking on the download link (as described in the instructions: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/ins ... ml#winlame)

Audacity won't open up very many exotic sound formats by itself. You can add the FFMpeg software to open up a lot more.

Did you install the FFmpeg Import/Export Library ? but when I open or import the file in audacity 2.2.2 it looks quite strange, extremely short and very loud. Did you import it as "raw data"? That'll happen if you open a compressed ...
