Does it matter what the original was tuned to as long as the objective is to create the new one tuned to 432Hz?

Is it possible to convert already recorded music (on an MP3 player) from 440Hz to 432Hz using the Audicity program?

I tried this step http://truthconduit.weebly.com/convert-music-to-432-hz.html to convert the music to 432hz through these steps and i got a mp3 file nearly 4 x the size i expected and the music came out real strange...unlike the music I recorded.. :?: Anyone experienced in ...

FWIW, a fair number of Audacity tutorials that show how to use Audacity to convert from 440 Hz to 432 Hz state that you should convert to "432.186 Hz". I don't know why, any more than why 432 Hz is in accordance with the mathematical patterns of the universe, but you "might" get ...

I like to complicate things, i thought i have to type this in the frequency boxes.

Like an instrument i'd like to change the tune of the A from 440hz to 432hz, it's the "natural" frequency of the A and it's make music more natural and soft to listen.
