... that dialogue you have to choose "Use custom mix" in the Import / Export Preferences . Note that to use WAVEX header, choose "Other uncompressed files" when you export. Gale

... drop-down file format menu. Sample rate of exports (Hz) is set by project rate bottom left of Audacity. Try 2.1.2. After you select "Other uncompressed files" you can see bit depth choices underneath. Gale

При сохранении файла Export Audio - Other uncompressed files вместо выбранного формата, файл всегда сохраняется в формате .aiff !

The easiest way for best possible quality is to Export the audio as "WAV 32-bit float" (in the "other uncompressed files" options: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/file_export_dialog.html). This is the same ultra-high quality format that Audacity uses internally. ...
